The team at Shropshire Petals are back in the petal shed after a wonderful Christmas break, we're rearing to get started this January. Congratulations to everyone that got engaged over the festive period! If you're getting married this year, don't worry, we're here to help with all your wedding confetti and dried flower needs.
Inspired by Pantone's 2024 Colour of the Year
As we welcome in the New Year, we're so excited to present you a brand-new Confetti Mix of the Month! It's inspired by the world-renowned trend setter, Pantone. The Pantone Colour of the year for 2024 is called Peach Fuzz. "A compassionate and nurturing soft peach shade conveying a heartfelt kindness".
We love this delicate warm colour, it's giving us peaceful and poetic vibes, making it the perfect theme for a spring/summer wedding!
Peach Wedding Confetti
This cheerful new wedding confetti mix is made of Icing Sugar and Candy Floss delphinium petals, Honey B calendula petals, Burnt Orange rose petals and complimentary Eucalyptus leaves. All these petals are dried, natural and biodegradable. Ideal for couples that want to make an eco-friendly statement on their big day.
If you love this petal confetti mix, but wish to tweak it, you can re-create it in our bespoke Pick & Mix area and change the colours if you'd like. Simply click here and go back to Step 1 in the Pick & Mix area.
Wedding Inspiration
From bridesmaid dresses to invites, bridal flowers to venue décor, there are so many ways to incorporate this delightful colour scheme into your wedding day. We've put together our favourite ideas for a Peach Fuzz Pinterest board to give you plenty of inspiration.
We especially love the idea of bringing those delicate colours into your table spread as your guests can spend a lot of time here. There can be a tendency to feel you need to match colours exactly, but having a spectrum of similar colours works just as well.
How to display your wedding confetti
Are you planning to have a flower girl or two? This Mix of the month works so well with our Flower Girl basket package, it comes with 1 litre of the confetti mix. That's enough for 10-15 handfuls for children.
Alternatively, if you're looking for something more industrial looking, our silver pails hold 2 litres of confetti, that's enough for 20-24 handfuls for guests to throw. Perfect for an intimate wedding.
There is no right or wrong way to display your wedding confetti, this mix works with so many options. View our confetti mixes here and select the Mix of the Month colour in the dropdown menu.
How Much Confetti Do I Order?
The amount of confetti you need for your wedding day all depends on the amount of guests you've got coming. We recommend providing enough for at least half your guests to get a wonderful confetti shot.
Try our easy online confetti calculator, tell it how many guests you've got invited to your wedding day, and it will tell you how many litres you need for an epic confetti moment.
Did you know 1 litre of confetti is enough for 10-12 handfuls.
If you've got 100 guests, we'd recommend between 5 litres for half your guests or 10 litres for all your guests. There's no such thing as too much confetti, so if you want a little extra for flower girls, table décor, or even scattering down the aisle, make sure to order more.

When should I order my wedding confetti?
As soon as you know what you want you can order. It's that easy. If you're wedding is over 3 months away, you can opt to use our free Delayed Delivery service, that just means we'll dispatch it from our petal shed 1 month before your wedding day. Alternatively, if you're wedding is less than 3 months away, you can order immediately and the petals will keep fine until the big day.
Did you know our delphinium and wildflower petals actually keep their best for around 12 months, whereas our roses, hydrangeas and eucalyptus only hold their colour and shape for up to 3 months. To make life easier for you, we created our Delayed Delivery service, so you don't need to store your petals for long periods of time.

Why use biodegradable petal confetti
All our petals are eco-friendly as they come from nature, they're grown not made. They're much more sustainable than paper, as the flowers only take a few months to grow as opposed to paper that takes years to grow trees, plus our petal confetti doesn't require any processing, unlike paper confetti. Best of all, it's biodegradable, meaning no one needs to clean up after you and it's non-harmful to the environment either. The petals are dye-free, beautiful and recommended by real couples, take a look at our customer reviews.
