Looking for a fun spring craft project? These DIY Dried Flower Easter Bunny Wreaths are a great way to get hands-on and add a seasonal touch to your home using beautiful dried flowers. We made two versions, one for the crafters who love getting stuck in, and a quicker version for those short on time but still keen to create something special.
Whether you're decorating a door, adding charm to your Easter table, or gifting to a loved one, these bunny wreaths are the perfect way to celebrate spring.
Option 1: For the Craft-Loving Creator
What you’ll need:
- Wire Bunny Wreath Frame (ours is from The Range)
- Chicken wire
- Wire cutters
- Protective gloves
- A selection of dried flowers (we used, delphiniums, statice, helichrysum, lonas, dried oats and lagurus. All of which are available on our website.)
Step 1:
Put on your protective gloves and roll out your chicken wire. Lay your bunny frame on top to measure how much wire you'll need, then cut it to size, leaving a little extra around the edges.
Step 2:
Securely wrap the chicken wire around the frame, shaping it carefully and making sure it's tightly fastened.
Step 3:
Trim down your dried flowers so they’re the right size to weave through the chicken wire. We used dried oats and Lagurus to make the bunny ears a standout feature.
This part is completely up to you, there’s no right or wrong way to arrange your blooms, so have fun with it!
Display Tip:
Hang it on a door, wall, or window, or even use it as a centrepiece for your spring table.
Option 2: The Speedy Version (No Wire Wrangling Required!)
What you’ll need:
- Natural Bunny Wreath Base (our is from The Range )
- Dried Flowers
- Florist tape or twine
- Scissors
Step 1:
Cut down your dried flowers and group them into mini bunches of 2–4 stems. We made four in total, securing each mini bouquet with florist tape.
Step 2:
Position your mini arrangements on the bunny wreath – we kept it simple by adding one bunch to a rabbit ear and another to the lower part of the frame (a subtle nod to a bunny tail!).
But again, you do you, it’s your wreath, so go with what feels right!
Display Tip:
This one looks adorable in a child’s room, on a shelf, or as a sweet springtime wall decoration.
Final Touch
Both versions are completely customisable, pick your favourite colours, keep it wild and whimsical, or go for a soft pastel palette to suit your space.
