Who doesn’t love a vibrant festival-themed wedding? It's all about celebrating love with good vibes, delicious food, fun activities, and, of course, unforgettable photos.

For July, we've created a special bespoke confetti mix bursting with vibrant colours to capture that festival spirit. Imagine your wedding photos showered in a cascade of bright Icing Sugar, Cherry Blossom, and Amethyst delphiniums, Honey 'b calendula, and Golden Slumber and Flamingo Pink rose petals. Made from real dried flower petals, our confetti is naturally biodegradable, ensuring your celebration is as kind to the earth as it is stunning.

Bohemian-Inspired Bridesmaid Dresses

For a festival-themed wedding, bohemian-inspired bridesmaid dresses are a must. Picture your bridal party in flowing fabrics, floral prints, and relaxed silhouettes that capture the essence of laid-back romance. Perfect for outdoor weddings, and rustic-chic celebrations. Imagine your bridesmaids twirling in the breeze, the delicate petals from your confetti moment floating around them – a picture-perfect moment!

Festival-Style Feast: Takeaway-Inspired Treats

No festival is complete without mouth-watering food, and your wedding should be no exception. Treat your guests to a casual and fun dining experience with takeaway-inspired treats. Think BBQ food with smoky flavours, gourmet pizzas with a variety of toppings, and food stations where guests can pick and choose their favourites. This relaxed dining style encourages mingling and adds a playful, informal vibe to your celebration.

Dazzling Dried Flower Arrangements

Dried flowers are a no brainer, the arrangements can be made in advance and set up days before, reducing stress and giving you one less thing to worry about. A combination of colourful delphiniums, statice, yellow craspedia, and wheat will create stunning displays that are both eco-friendly and long-lasting. Use them in bouquets, table centrepieces, and venue decorations such as wreaths and flower clouds to add a rustic yet vibrant touch to your wedding. These arrangements can withstand the hive of activity on the wedding day, don't stain, and, even better, you can give them to your guests as keepsakes long after your special day.

Games & Activities to Keep the Fun Flowing

Festival weddings are all about having fun! Set up some outdoor games like giant Jenga, ring toss, or a space hopper race to keep your guests entertained. You could even have a photo booth with fun props for your guests to capture silly memories.

A Cake to Remember

A festival-themed wedding cake should be as delightful and unique as your celebration. Consider a naked cake adorned with fresh fruits and edible flowers, or a brightly decorated tiered cake that mirrors the colours of your confetti mix. Flavours like lemon and elderflower or berry and vanilla can add a refreshing twist that guests will love. The key is to create a cake that is both visually striking and delicious, ensuring it's a memorable centrepiece at your reception.

Signature Cocktail: Festival Fizz

To complete the festival vibe, serve a bespoke cocktail that embodies the spirit of your wedding. Our suggestion? The "Festival Fizz." This light and bubbly cocktail is perfect for summer celebrations and adds a touch of sophistication to your festivities. A great idea is to create a large batch of your chosen cocktail, add it to a beverage dispenser with a tap, and let guests help themselves.

Pictures to Remember

Once the ‘I Do’s’ are complete, ensure the biodegradable confetti is on hand for your exit. You can have it displayed in confetti baskets so it’s easy for the bridal party to walk around and give the guests a handful or a Shropshire Box, so everyone can grab a cone.

Top Tip: Get your ushers or bridesmaids to explain to guests when they need to throw, that they all need a good handful of confetti, and that they should aim to throw it as high as possible. The last thing you want is confetti in your face; throwing it high will ensure it flutters gently to the ground, which will look fantastic in your photographs. Get someone to do a confetti countdown too!

The confetti moment does not need to be restricted to one part of the day. Why not kickstart the party by releasing confetti cannons during your first dance? Evening guests can also get involved - bonus! The pictures will be epic!

When to Order Confetti

Our delphinium and wildflower petals will actually keep for around 12 months, whereas our larger petals like roses or hydrangeas last up to 3 months. To keep it simple, if you order more than 3 months before your big day, you can select our Delayed Delivery service. That means you can order whenever you know what you want, and we will post out your petals closer to your wedding day so they are just perfect.
