Autumn is one of the most colourful and beautiful seasons, and truth be told a firm favourite of ours. We're are big fans of cosy jumpers, colourful walks with golden crunchy leaves, beautiful clear blue sky's and hot chocolates (with copious marshmallows!)
The rich russet colour scheme that comes to mind when autumn is mentioned is defiantly what inspired us to create this 100% biodegradable, eco-friendly and dye-free Mix of The Month.
Rich and Warm Autumn Tones
Complete your autumn wedding of dreams with this stunning combination of ivory delphinium petals, rich chocolate-coloured sunflower petals and our Lady in Red and Burnt Orange rose petals, which are all-natural, biodegradable and eco-friendly.
Not only will it make for a stunning confetti shot, it will also set a romantic tone scattered down the aisle on rustic log slices, amongst lanterns filled with pillar candles for atmospheric lighting. We can even envision it sprinkled on tablescapes paired with earthy rust card stock place names etched in gold foil, wildflowers to enhance the nature element, tall orange candles, hessian napkins, pines cones and even pumpkins too.

Autumn Wedding theme
There really is nothing dreamier than getting married in Autumn, the glorious vibrant colours in nature and atmospheric weather sets the perfect scene for a natural backdrop and the most perfect lighting for your photographer to capture your joyous occasion. We also love the fact that the darker, chiller evenings mean you can opt to have more romantic touches, like outdoor fire pits, sparklers and some pretty epic firework displays too.
Displaying your Confetti
What's great about this biodegradable and eco-friendly mix is that it's very versatile and will work for a rustic, bohemian or country theme wedding.

This September mix looks fantastic paired with our Confetti Pops, White Cones, Kraft Confetti Sachets and something rustic like our Confetti Basket would look lovely against rust orange and burgundy bridesmaid's dresses. Your bridesmaids can then carry the confetti baskets around ensuring each of your guests grab a handful and are prepared for the confetti throw. This is also the perfect time for the bridesmaids to mention to the guests to throw the confetti high in the air. It sounds like common sense we know, but it would surprise you how many people throw it at the newlyweds' feet or face!

Confetti Isn't just for Summer
The British weather is unpredictable, sometimes it feels like we can have all 4 seasons in just one day! However, that doesn't mean that you should rule out your confetti shot or only think about having confetti during the summer months. No matter the season, if you find yourself faced with damp and windy weather conditions on your big day don't scrap your magical confetti moment, you just need a plan B!
Take it indoors (always check with your venue first), you could opt to have your confetti thrown as you walk down the aisle, cutting your cake or during your first dance. There are so many venues with epic staircases, if you're lucky enough to have selected one that does then make the most of this.
As this mix contains small and large petals, it's got a fantastic mixture of textures and fall rates, giving your wedding photographer lots of time to get the shot.
If you are not allowed to throw it indoors why not get your guests create a funnel with umbrella's outside? Matching your colour scheme of course -there's always a way to throw confetti! Our Confetti Pops would be ideal for this, as the confetti won't blow away while the guests are getting themselves prepared. They are easy to use, simply pop the top, hold them high and throw the confetti.

Eco-friendly and Dye Free Confetti
We never dye any of our petals so you have the confidence that every colour is 100% true to nature. Here on the Shropshire Petals farm, we plant our flower seeds in the spring, carefully nurture them to bloom through to the summer months and pick them by hand to ensure only the best petals make the cut. They're then dried on our farm and hand packed to be delivered to wonderful couples all over the world, all year around.
