The First Flowers Of The Season

We can't believe how quickly a year has gone! It feels like only yesterday that Jess and I (Jo here) popped up to the fields to pick the first calendula, before getting stuck in a lovely June rain storm!

We were very happy to see the first yellow flowers pop up earlier in the week, right on time!

Daniela headed up to the field yesterday to pick the first crates of flowers.

After a busy morning picking, Daniela headed back down the farm and we spent the afternoon doing a spot of team bonding by de-petalling each flower head in the sunshine!

Once the petals are dry, they'll be sent out as confetti and will shower newlyweds on their big day! We all love being part of such a wonderful tradition.
