Lovely Larkspur - Perfect for Wedding Confetti

The flower for July is larkspur which is an annual version of delphinium, an all-time favorite perennial, and is the flower that we use for most of our natural petal confetti. Harvest has begun here at SP, so we're busy picking lots of colourful larkspur flowers - they really are lovely!

The larkspur are all delicately handpicked to ensure that the flower heads aren't damaged and the petals are in perfect condition for our confetti.

The photos above show our Candyfloss, Amethyst, Lady Grey, Icing Sugar and Raspberry Fool larkspur flowers which are de-petalled by hand to create our colourful petal confetti.

Larkspur petals are perfect for throwing because they are small and light so they flutter slowly to the ground, giving your photographer plenty of time to capture that all important confetti shot.
